Why water?
This year the theme is water, and befor you ask why, a few numbers:
* Up to 60% of the human body is water, the brain is composed of 70%water
* We need a minimum of two quarts (1,9 liters) of clean water per day per person
* The total human appropriation in 2025 would be 70% of estimated available water (compared to current 54%)
* Today approximately one in eight people in the world aready don't have enough acess to clean water....

What can we do?
* Recycle Used Cooking Oil and Grease (1 litter of oil can contaminate 1 million litters of clean water)
* Purchase low water footprint products, exchanging meat for grains (Over 65% of water use is on agriculture, mainly for feeding livestock)
* Drink tap water instead of bottled water (avoiding global warming and green-house gas emissions due to its production and transport)

As my grandmother used to say, "who cares will always posses what is cared for".
So care for water, it fuels the humans today and tomorrow!
